Resources: Women in WW1

WW1 did not just affect men.  Many women were overseas involved in nursing, home front charity work and non-traditional employment.  Here’s a good general overview (Skwirk) and another here.

Here’s a great list of female poets of the First World War at a British site, scroll down about ⅔ to find a list of Australian Women Poets.  The same site has a great bibliography of women’s stories.
