To commemorate Violet Day, go and see the free family event, Violet Verses, a “sound and light spectacular” by Illuminart on the evenings of the 2nd, 3rd and 4th July at the Torrens Parade Ground in the city. Violet Verses tells the story of the World War One “Cheer Up Society”, established in South Australia. The Society was funded by selling bunches of violets.
I’ve been to several shows by Illuminart in the past and they are always fantastic!
